Californication

Californication is a television series that follows the life of Hank Moody who is a famed novelist and New York City transplant who was relocated to LA after his acclaimed book was optioned for a movie. Since then he’s juggled the demands of Hollywood with the desire to write his own material, all the while performing a complicated dance with on-again/off-again girlfriend Karen and raising his rebellious daughter Becca. But he never stops owning his vices, an appetite for beautiful women. Stars David Duchovny, Natascha McElhone, Pamela Adlon, Madeleine Martin, Evan Handler, and Madeline Zima. A self-loathing, alcoholic writer attempts to repair his damaged relationships with his daughter and her mother while combating sex addiction, a budding drug problem, and the seeming inability to avoid making bad decisions.
